VMT Madeira - Catamaran Trips

On a 3-hour coastal trip it is possible to observe cetaceans, as well as the sunset and we make a short stop to swim in Fajã do Cabo Girão.

MEETING POINT: Check-in is mandatory 30 minutes before each trip at our Kiosk VMT Madeira - Cais 8, Funchal Marina (below Praça do Povo)

REMARKS: Sunscreen, towel, bathing suit and windbreaker are recommended. The boats have bathrooms, a bar anda a covered area to protect from sun and rain

A 3-hour trip, in which you will have a strong chance of observing several species of dolphins and whales in their natural habitat, a unique moment of contemplation that you will hardly forget.

You may have the possibility of diving in the crystal clear waters of Cabo Girão, one of the largest capes over the sea in the world (580m above sea level). We have snorkeling equipment on board for those who wish to glimpse the seabed in that area, or if you prefer, lie in our hammock while observing the magnitude of Cabo Girão high above. This is without a doubt a trip that all visitors to Madeira Island (and locals too) should take at least once in their lives. A unique, relaxing and enriching experience that you can do with your family.

If we don't manage to spot any dolphins or whales, don't worry! We offer a second trip so that you have a new opportunity to observe these species and all their magnitude in their natural habitat.

It is a seasonal trip (May to October) and only takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays with a total duration of 9 hours. A transfer is made to Deserta Grande island for a short guided tour where some of the island's fauna and flora will be explained. These islands have countless wild species, both marine and terrestrial. It is possible to practice some activities, such as stand up paddleboarding and snorkelling.
