The Client

Dorisol Group is the largest three stars hoteliers in Madeira Island with four hotels located in Funchal city. A group with many years of existence and experience and always aware of the importance of implementing strategic decisions to improve guest satisfaction and internal management.

The Challlenge

There is no doubt of the need to adapt business role to Tourism sector and Technology innovations. For that reason, Dorisol Group needed a solution to answer one main goal – a proper technology that provides an added value to their clients, by promoting local activities and experiences to do during the stay and with the possibility to book them through an easy to use system. The challenge was to take advantage of a technology that improves profit and guest satisfaction in a non-intrusive way.

inMadeira approach

According to the specific goal we developed a multifaced solution adjusted to Dorisol Group different scenarios.

Dorisol Group has been integrated in the regional B2B and B2C reservation platform - inMadeira. This platform was created through our know- how and vast experience in tourism business scope. It contributes to management, promotion, distribution and booking for all services in the region. As an 100% cloud solution it also introduces partnerships and cross-selling through different entities and companies.

Taking advantage of this integration, it was also developed a hotel micro website with promotions and suggestions for activities during the stay. According to recognized studies, tourists make their own decisions during the stay and recommendations are requested by guests to the hotel’s team. Therefore, this solution enables to communicate own services as well as streamline partners services sales in a dynamic way and ready to book system, converting the hotel as a local host.

The xRS platform is a multi-product and multi-channel reservation system completely adjusted to nowadays tourism sector challenges. It allows all type of activities and services management and promotion and enables a collaboration among multiple stakeholders – such as suppliers, intermediaries or providers.

FrontOffice is a portal that allows easy reservations. It was designed to be used in hotel reception, by the activities or any entity that resells activities and events to tourists. It enables to promote and sell internal services and partners activities and services. On the other hand, the BackOffice allows the supplier to manage the reservations and personalize its offer.

This in-house sales system provides a 360º assistance and interaction during the stay. It allows check-in trough an interface to validate vouchers, vouchers packages for flexible restaurant selection and commission attribution and management.

The Results

Our solution consists on an innovative and dynamic way of improving guest satisfaction and at the same time it represents an advantage for the hotels through an organized and coherent strategy.
