Two Ten Classic Tours

We are a family business providing personalized, guided sightseeing tours in historical and classical vehicles around Funchal and surroundings.

All our automobiles came brand new to Madeira Island, and were acquired by the family during the past seven decades with the oldest, a 1935 Austin-10 Open Road Tourer, entering the family in 1949 by the hand of our grandfather, Jordão Marques dos Santos. This automobile, along with a second 1946 Austin-10 Saloon, inspired the name of the company - Two Ten. These cars truly helped to write the Island's history, from the times they were serving as cabs all over Madeira Island, to the family holiday rides and picnics to the countryside and, since the 1970s, they have been participating regularly in the Classic Car races, rides, shows and flower parades in Madeira. Apart from the vintage Two Ten, we have a very comfortable Mercedes Benz 280S from 1972, a stylish 1966 Singer Vogue and two VW Beetle from 1970 and 71.

Madeira was the first settlement built by Europeans outside the Old World, at the onset of the Age of Discoveries. We have an experience of more than two centuries in high standard tourism, along with a very rich history, in a dramatic scenery of volcanic peaks partly covered with an exuberant endemic forest.

Our rides are specifically designed to restore the glamorous and charming experience of the golden days of tourism, driving our clients along a plethora of old roads, historical streets and forgotten alleys in Funchal and the surrounding countryside, while our guide, a recognized History researcher with a degree in Biology, provides insightful information on the History, Nature, Geology, Architecture and Culture of Funchal and Madeira island. We have a number of carefully designed tours in Funchal, Câmara de Lobos and Caniço, which can be modified or extended on demand - even during the ride. We also provide the possibility of creating your own tailor-made tour, as well as using the vehicles in special events, with a budget.
