To carry out a canyon of level 4, you must have previously performed a level 3 activity with our company or provide some proof of an equivalent level of experiences.
The Ribeira do Vimieiro is a very vertical canyon with beautiful and large waterfalls. Unlike most of the canyons in Madeira, this consists on several and successive waterfalls that make us descend about 300 meters gap in only 500 meters long.
The access to this canyon is quite demanding (about 300 meters steep climb) which requires some physical ability.

“Adidas” boots (canyoning boots) = extra 5,00€ per pair of shoes
Includes: Neoprene suit and socks, all the equipment needed (helmet, harness, connectors and eight approved by UIAA), a chocolate bar, licenses to carry out activities in the mountains, Canyoning guides, personal insurance (according to the Portuguese law) and transportation from the hotel to the activity and from the activity to the hotel.
What do you need to bring?
To do Canyoning you need to bring a towel, bathing-suit, sports shoes that you don’t mind getting wet (sportive shoes like running or mountain boots, never sandals or diving shoes) and change of clothes.
Minimum: 4 people.
