Starting our tour with amazing views over Funchal´s Bay, we drive uphill to Boca dos Namorados, at nearly 1000 mts high above sea level, where we will be able to see the famous village of Curral das Freiras (Nun's Valley). Going higher to Boca da Corrida through a spectacular off road with an elevation of about 1200 mts, you will be astonished by the main volcanic complex and highest mountains of the island. From there, we go downhill to Jardim da Serra, place known by its cherry production. Here we will have a quick stop, where you can enjoy a portugues coffee, natural tea or the very traditional drink Poncha (not included), freshly made by a local. We will continue towards Cabo Girão, the highest cliff in Europe and second in the World with 580 mts, better known for its renovated viewpoint with suspended glass floor. Later, we will finish our tour at the warm and traditional fishing village of Câmara de Lobos visiting a Madeira Wine Lodge, where our guests will have the opportunity to taste (included) the famous Madeira wine (Sweet / Medium Sweet / Dry / Medium Dry).

Nun's Valley with an interesting history. Pico do Arieiro with beautiful views from 1.818 meters high. Santo da Serra with incredible and stunning landscapes.

With a beautiful and panoramic view over Funchal, Câmara de Lobos and Desert Islands, we start our tour at Pico dos Barcelos. From there, we drive towards the famous Curral das Freiras (Nun's Valley) which is surrounded by the highest mountains and historic places. Then we go uphill to Pico do Arieiro at 1818 mts., where we can enjoy magnificent landscapes and great views over Ponta de São Lourenço, Ribeiro Frio , Paúl da Serra, Curral das Freiras or even Porto Santo, if there is good weather. In our last stop, Ribeira Primeira Park, a sustainable project in the heart of the forest, you may visit the trout farm and enjoy a natural tea or portuguese coffee (not included) at the Tea House, overlooking the park and the magical forest. On our way back to Funchal, we will feel and see the real Madeira with many breathtaking views over the traditional terraces of the local farmers and amazing viewpoints.

Rabaçal is a unique and magical place, full of waterfalls and fountains. 25 Fountains Levada walk is the most famous in Madeira. Cabo Girão known to be the highest Sea Cliff in Europe.

Going West to Rabaçal, a unique and magical place in Calheta, where we start a 3 hours walk (approximately) through an evergreen forest, providing great landscapes and wonderful sensations. On this hike, we will have the opportunity to admire beautiful waterfalls carved in ancient valleys, natural springs with the best water possible and its endemic species of flora (Laurissilva Forest) and fauna. After this great walk, we will have a lunch break (not included) in a typical Madeiran restaurant in Paúl da Serra, the biggest plateau of the island at nearly 1500 mts high with stunning views. Later on, we go downhill through a wonderful off-road to the South Coast, where you will see beautiful beaches. Continuing by the coast, we go to Cabo Girão, known by its suspended glass floor viewpoint which offers a spectacular panoramic view over the Atlantic, Câmara de Lobos and Funchal. Then, to finish our tour we drive through the oldest roads to Câmara de Lobos, an important fishing village in Madeira with interesting history and traditions.

From Funchal we go uphill to Pico do Arieiro at 1818 mts, enjoying amazing landscapes and great views over Ponta de São Lourenço, Paúl da Serra, Curral das Freiras and even Porto Santo island. Then, heading to the north side of the island, we will pass through Ribeiro Frio, surrounded by Laurissilva Forest (classified as World Heritage by UNESCO), other exotic species and beautiful evergreen mountains; involving us in a peaceful environment. Continuing, we will experience a nice off-road journey toward one of the most emblematic towns in the island, Santana the “Biosphere Reserve”, known by its triangular houses, which served locals for centuries as dwellings and stables. After a lunch stop (not included), we will visit a very traditional Rum Distillery in Porto da Cruz. Finally, we will stop at Pico do Facho viewpoint, to enjoy amazing views over Ponta de São Lourenço and Machico Bay. Machico was the first Capital of Madeira, when the first explorers arrived on the island.

We start our fantastic tour with some off-roading experience in one of the old royal paths, which was once used to transport all the goods from the mountains to the coast line. After that we keep on driving to the majestic Pico do Arieiro, the third highest peak on the island at 1.818 mts. height. There, we will watch one of the most breath-taking and unique moments in Madeira, the Sunrise. We will provide blankets to our guests, so you feel comfortable during the event. After sunrise, we can enjoy magnificent landscapes and great views over Ponta de São Lourenço, Ribeiro Frio , Paúl da Serra, Curral das Freiras or even Porto Santo. Then, we will go to the Paredão viewpoint with an amazing view over Curral das Freiras from 1500 mts. sea level, surrounded by the highest mountains of the island.
